What? When are you leaving? [If she's a little surprised he actually told her so, well, she's not going to mention it or sound like it.] Do you have any leads?

[Annabeth hasn't quite decided her preference. Ordinary, she'd tackle the crystal issue too. But Tartarus has left her tired.]

[ nico, on the other hand, has been filled with the kind of restlessness that demands action. the thought of what might be happening back on earth has yet to stop bothering him and if he can throw himself into something under the guise of helping, well he's doing just that. ]

I've already left. [ sort of. ] Just an idea, but it doesn't sound like there's time to wait around for anything more.

Wait, what? Really? [She sounds mildly surprised by this.] I - [Would have come with him? She thinks she might have, had it come up before this. But demigods going solo isn't all that weird lately, especially for Nico.]

If the crystal's so important, it must be powerful. Powerful things always give off some kind of energy signal.

You think you can trace it? [With his magic energy sensory powers.]

I'm going to try. [ literally 90% of all his plans can be summed up as this. ] It's better than nothing.

[She scrunches up her face, not that he can see it.] If anyone's in a good spot to try, it is probably you.

[Not that she's 100% behind him going off, but there's very little choice otherwise.] Just - keep me updated, if that's possible.
