ANNABETH CHASE

— BASICS —
— FIRST IMPRESSIONS —

APPEARANCE Lean muscled with an athletic build, Annabeth stands at about 5'10". Her eyes are steely grey, her hair blonde and curly, usually pulled back into a messy ponytail or a braid. She does not brush it often. There are miscellaneous battle scars from blades and monsters across her body, some of which look several years old. There's an especially large knife scar on her upper arm, from a poisoned dagger. Post Emergence event, there is a streak of grey in her hair.
CLOTHING In the Horizon, she tends to default to an orange t-shirt inscribed with "Camp Half-Blood" and a pair of jeans or jean shorts, with flip flops or running sneakers. In Thorne, she prefers a simple tunic and pants with comfortable boots, aiming for both fitting in with the locals and comfort to herself.
DEMEANOR Annabeth is always looking around and casing the room. She can come across as perhaps a little intense. Her posture is often guarded, arms often crossed, and she probably has what one can call "resting bitch face." She looks standoffish, but once speaking with her, she tends to loosen up and can get very emotional. She typically holds herself tall and upright, very unashamed of her very self; she's semi-combative against perceived threats and condescension. Occasionally, when very stressed out, she walks with a slight limp in her ankle.
AURAL A vaguely New York accent but like, not Jersey Shore levels, occasionally a little Virginian.
OLFACTORY Citrus and lemons. It's a spider deterrent!!

DIVINE WISDOM Her intelligence is literally divine. Her memory is exceptional, even photographic, and her understanding of intellectual concepts is godly. Her brain is a walking encyclopedia, and her smarts are her greatest strength. Her capacity for learning and absorbing knowledge is god tier.
COMBAT AND WARFARE a step above other demigods, battle strategy is in her area. Athena is the goddess of strategy, and thus Annabeth is a master planner. Her ability to calculate both prior to battle and in the midst of it is a cut above the rest; her quick thinking is above a regular mortal’s and even other demigods. As Athena is also a war goddess, Annabeth is highly skilled with all kinds of weaponry, knowing inherently the best way to use it, as well as having a high proficiency in hand-to-hand. Planning and engaging in warfare are inherent to her.
CRAFTSMANSHIP she has a natural affinity for crafting and the arts, the extent to which surprises her - like when she wove herself a ladder across a chasm despite having never woven before in her life and moving through the process without thinking. Presumably this affinity exists with other crafts, but Annabeth’s artsy hobby is architecture - which she also excels at.
